 BARBEQUE SAUCE


1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup water
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 to 2 diced onions
1/4 cup canola oil
1 cup ketchup
4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Cook the first 10 ingredients, mixed, in a sauce pan. Simmer, uncovered, for about 20 minutes. Add the
last 2 ingredients, and bring to a boil. Turn off. Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
Use as a sauce for cooking chicken, pork chops, and ribs.
