Grab a little helper for baking this cookie!
Peanut Butter Temptations
1/2 cup butter, softened completely
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 t. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
48 Hershey kisses
Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Stir in dry ingredients until blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove and press 1 chocolate kiss gently into center of cookie. Return to oven for an additional 1 minute. Allow to cool.
Yield: 4 dozen
**These are tricky to store...I place them all on a large platter and allow to completely cool, then cover loosely with Saran Wrap.
