 Grandmama Massey's Coffee Cake

My grandmama always had a fresh coffee cake in her kitchen for us to enjoy. Sometimes she would make it
for company or for her "bereavement" dish. I have fond memories of her when I make this cake myself. It is a special
cake...try it for breakfast , brunch, or anytime!

       2 sticks butter
       2 cups sugar
       2 eggs
       1 cup sour cream
        1/2 tea. vanilla
2 cups sifted cake flour ( i use Swanson's..put what you don't use in the freezer)
        1 tea. baking powder
        1/4 tea. salt
Mix all in mixer.
Topping:
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 tea. cinnamon
 2 tea. sugar.

Pour batter in a bundt pan that has been greased and floured with "Baker's Joy".
Then, put the topping on. Take a knife and swirl it around so the topping mixture is
all through the batter. You can use more sugar and more cinnamon if you want.
Bake 350 degrees for 45 min.
